As the brand’s first-ever pickup truck, the Tasman was built from the ground up to deliver best-in-class capability on rough terrains while still providing a smooth on-road experience.
Designed on a brand-new platform, the Tasman features a reinforced body-on-frame construction that supports a payload of up to 1,151kg and a towing capacity of 3,500kg. It comes standard with four-wheel drive (4WD) on the X-Line and X-Pro trims, along with advanced off-road technologies like terrain-specific drive modes, a Two-Speed Active Transfer Case, and Electronic Locking Differential for maximum control in harsh environments.
Drivers in the Middle East and Africa will benefit from a dedicated ‘Desert’ mode, engineered to tackle sand dunes, and water-cooled systems that keep performance stable in high-heat, low-speed towing situations.
Powertrains include a 2.5-liter petrol engine (281PS) and a 2.2-liter diesel engine (210PS), both mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Designed for global markets, including Korea, Australia, and the Middle East, the Tasman also comes with optional manual transmission for diesel variants depending on region.
