Dubai Land Department strengthens the future of real estate through strategic local and international partnerships at IPS 2025.
In a bold move to reshape and future-proof the real estate landscape, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) signed 11 strategic agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with a variety of local and international entities during its participation at the International Property Show (IPS) 2025 — one of the world’s leading real estate events.
These agreements reflect Dubai’s ongoing commitment to innovation, transparency, smart solutions, and sustainability in the real estate sector. The goal is to position Dubai as a global hub for sustainable and forward-thinking real estate investment.
Enhancing Transparency and Operational Efficiency
Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD, signed five major agreements with:
- BidBayt (Real estate auctions)
- Auctions (Auction operations)
- Sure Insurance Brokers
- iKARCom Solutions (Property tech)
- Miami Association of Realtors
These deals focus on boosting auction services, insurance solutions, tech integration, and international collaboration — all with the purpose of improving service quality, operational efficiency, and trust in real estate transactions.
Of particular note, DLD’s partnership with BidBayt integrates the official rental index with their platform, enabling investors to access reliable rental data and make informed decisions.
Global Standards & Competitive Market Environment
DLD also licensed Auctions to organize property auctions in Dubai, aligning with best global practices to energize the local real estate market.
A MoU with Sure Insurance Brokers aims to support the rental market through innovative insurance solutions, improving financial protection for both tenants and landlords.
With iKARCom Solutions, DLD will explore advanced proptech innovations, environmental sustainability, and enhanced regulatory compliance to raise transaction transparency and service standards.
The partnership with the Miami Association of Realtors is designed to deepen ties between the two markets, facilitate cross-border investments, and promote international best practices and joint real estate initiatives.
Empowering Women and Expanding Quality Services
Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector at DLD, signed six additional agreements with:
- Gulf Vision
- Bin Shabib
- Elyasis
(All as real estate service outsourcing partners) - Barnes Middle East & Africa
- HRE Development
- Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute
These collaborations aim to outsource real estate services, elevate customer satisfaction, and offer integrated, high-quality service delivery.
In support of women in the sector, DLD expanded its “She Leads” initiative with Innovation Experts to include specialized training and workshops in real estate brokerage and investment, empowering Emirati women and fostering entrepreneurship.
Under the Women’s Charter initiative, the agreement with HRE Development focuses on promoting women’s leadership in real estate companies and brokerage firms, offering investment programs tailored for women, and fostering work environments that support work-life balance.
Boosting Service Efficiency Through Outsourcing
Three key agreements with Gulf Vision, Bin Shabib, and Elyasis enable the outsourcing of real estate services using DLD’s official systems. These moves are intended to raise service quality and streamline processes for end-users.
DLD’s cooperation with Barnes MEA focuses on delivering premium real estate services and innovative client solutions, reinforcing its strategic integration with the private sector.
