Versace Embodied: A Bold Cultural Expression of the House’s Legacy

Versace Embodied

Versace has always been more than fashion—it is a force of cultural expression. With the launch of Versace Embodied, the House reaffirms its bold identity, blending art, photography, poetry, and performance to capture the fearless spirit that defines its legacy. This project is not a campaign but a conversation with culture, paying tribute to heritage while embracing the future.

A New Chapter of Versace

The first chapter of Versace Embodied highlights Medusa at Via Gesù 12, the symbol of the brand’s origins. Captured by photographer Camille Vivier, this image celebrates both mythology and modernity, connecting the House to its roots in Milan.

Art, Photography, and Poetry Unite

From Steven Meisel’s archival fashion work to Collier Schorr’s bold illustrations, and Eileen Myles’ powerful poetry, the project weaves together creative voices across disciplines. Each piece is a raw, personal interpretation of Versace’s values—strength, sensuality, and liberation.

Cultural Expression Without Limits

Versace Embodied is more than visuals; it is movement and community. From Olly Elyte’s dance collective “Ponyboy” to Stef Mitchell’s intimate portraits, the project reflects freedom, youth, and authenticity. It honors Versace’s enduring dialogue with pioneers of culture.

The Legacy of the House of Versace

Founded in 1978 by Gianni Versace, the House stands for independence, innovation, and Mediterranean luxury. Today, under Chief Creative Officer Dario Vitale, Versace continues to challenge conventions, blending classicism with daring modernity in every creation.
