Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met today in Amman with the Amman Design Week team and listened to a summary of the preparations and concepts for the upcoming edition, scheduled for the last quarter of next year.
During the meeting, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah, the team presented the highlights of the fourth edition, which will be themed “Accumulation” and implemented in partnership with supporters from both the public and private sectors.

Project directors Bishr Al Tabbah and Sarah Hijazin, along with several organizing team members, discussed the week’s role in deepening the impact of design and fostering lasting relationships among designers, building on the knowledge accumulated over the past years. The previous three editions brought together local, regional, and international designers and innovators in Amman, offering them free and open access to a series of exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and cultural programs.
Her Majesty and Princess Iman also interacted with a number of local designers who presented their projects in ceramics, architecture, fashion, furniture, wood carving, and graphic design.
It is worth noting that Amman Design Week was launched in 2016 under the patronage of Queen Rania Al Abdullah, aiming to create the largest platform for networking and collaboration for aspiring and innovative designers in Jordan and around the world. The week hosts major art exhibitions, student programs, as well as workshops.
