Loro Piana is set to launch its first-ever exhibition from March 22 to May 5, 2025, in celebration of the brand’s 100th anniversary. This event is part of a series of global festivities honoring the legacy of the prestigious house. The exhibition will be held at the Pudong Art Museum in Shanghai, a landmark designed by the renowned Ateliers Jean Nouvel (AJN) based in Paris. Curated by Judith Clark, the exhibition offers an immersive journey into the rich history and heritage of the Loro Piana family, brought to life through a stunning tapestry of archival photographs, artworks, and specially created pieces. This celebration of craftsmanship showcases the house’s dedication to creating exceptional products that celebrate texture and artistry, spotlighting its unique world of fibers, fabrics, icons, and symbols.
China plays an integral role in Loro Piana’s history and growth, marked by decades of excellence beginning with cashmere. The exhibition highlights the journey of cashmere, from skilled hands in China to longstanding collaborations with herders and communities preserving its heritage.
