Abu Dhabi is hosting a diverse program of events to mark the 54th UAE National Day, featuring heritage, arts, and music performances, live concerts, and family-friendly activities across cultural venues until December 3rd throughout the emirate.
1. National Day at Abu Dhabi Children’s Library
The Abu Dhabi Children’s Library celebrates National Day with a week-long program until December 2nd. Activities include bilingual workshops, festive light displays, “Kharareef Awal” storytelling sessions, and daily highlights showcasing each of the UAE emirates. Every evening, a special National Day performance takes place on the library’s outdoor stage.
2. National Day Concert at Bait Al Oud
Bait Al Oud hosts a special musical concert on November 28th, featuring Emirati graduates, musicians, and artists performing beautiful national and folk melodies.
3. National Day at the Heritage Village
On December 1st, the Heritage Village transforms into a lively celebration of Emirati identity from 8 AM to 6 PM. Visitors can explore traditional crafts such as tali, sadu, and palm weaving, enjoy Al-Ayyala performances, taste Emirati cuisine, and browse the souq featuring eight local entrepreneurs with traditional products and crafts. Interactive family activities and photo booths are also available.
4. National Day Celebration at Mohammed Bin Khalifa House, Al Ain
On December 1st and 2nd, Mohammed Bin Khalifa House hosts celebrations for families and friends, highlighting Emirati heritage and national pride. The program includes traditional arts and crafts, a food corner with local specialties, creative family workshops, and a horse parade in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Police.
5. National Day Performance at Al Maqta Museum
On December 2nd at 9 PM, Al Maqta Museum hosts a Razfa performance in its outdoor courtyard, celebrating National Day with pride and authenticity.
6. National Day at Manarat Al Saadiyat: Parade Atmosphere
From December 1st to 3rd, Manarat Al Saadiyat in the cultural district celebrates National Day with events inspired by parade atmospheres, including decorated cars, art studio workshops, a local market, food and beverage experiences, and stunning light installations in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Municipality.
7. Umm Al Emarat Festival in Al Ain and Al Dhafra
Running until December 2nd, the Umm Al Emarat Festival offers a complete family experience in Al Ain and Al Dhafra, celebrating National Day with entertainment, arts, culture, and cuisine, reflecting national pride and belonging.
8. Manarat Abu Dhabi
The ongoing public art exhibition at Manarat Abu Dhabi, running until January 4th, 2026, offers visitors a chance to explore the beauty of Abu Dhabi’s islands, oases, and mangroves through art. Exhibits include commissioned artworks, illuminated sculptures, light displays, and interactive experiences across Jubail Island, the main stage, Mina Market, and the Al Qattara and Al Jimi cultural trails in Al Ain.
9. Zayed National Museum
From December 3rd, families can visit the Zayed National Museum, the UAE’s national museum, to explore the country’s history, celebrate the legacy of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and embrace the values he instilled.
