In line with its mission to empower Emirati innovators and elevate national companies on the global stage, the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) participated in the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) 2025. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the exhibition took place from November 20–23 at ADNEC Marina Hall.

KFED highlighted seven innovative Emirati ventures, reaffirming its commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, building strategic partnerships, and opening access to new markets.

A Vision for Sustainable Growth

Her Excellency Mouza Obaid Al Nari, CEO of KFED, emphasized the Fund’s pivotal role in empowering Emirati enterprises.
She said:
“Participating in the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show strengthens our support for national projects, enhances their competitiveness, and aligns with Abu Dhabi’s economic diversification goals.”

Seven National Ventures Shine at ADIBS 2025

Among the participating companies was Bil Jiwar Commercial Brokers, founded by three Emirati female engineers as the region’s first digital platform for yacht bookings and marine event planning.

Other ventures included:

  • Started Project for women’s sportswear

  • Time Project for formal and professional attire

  • Blue Waves Café, known for specialty coffee and hospitality at festivals

Nirvana Unveils the Frauscher x Porsche Electric Sports Boat

A headline moment at ADIBS 2025 was the launch of the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air, introduced by Nirvana Yachts and Boats—the world’s first luxury electric sports boat, blending technology, performance, and sustainability.

Exclusive Membership Programme Featuring 42 Luxury Yachts

Nirvana also launched its exclusive membership programme, granting members access to a premium fleet of more than 42 yachts and boats.

Empowering Emirati Women in Powerboat Racing

In a move to support Emirati women, Nirvana signed a collaboration agreement with athlete Alia Abdulsalam, the first Emirati woman to compete in international Formula 4 powerboat racing.
The partnership aims to develop training programmes and create unique events that nurture national talent.

Saadiyat Marina Agreement to Boost Marine Tourism

Nirvana further announced an agreement with Abu Dhabi Ports Group for berth rental at Saadiyat Marina—an initiative set to enhance marina services and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s marine tourism sector.

A Global Hub for Marine Innovation

The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show continues to serve as a global platform for marine technology, innovation, and collaboration, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position on the international maritime map.
