Gulf Jewellers

The 56th edition of the Middle East Watch & Jewellery Show in Sharjah once again reaffirmed its status as the premier destination for luxury and heritage-inspired creations. This year, the event witnessed a remarkable Gulf presence with standout participation from leading jewellery houses and gold companies from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman, joining forces with local Emirati brands to showcase their finest designs.

A Regional Showcase of Excellence

Bringing together more than 500 exhibitors and 1,800 international designers, the exhibition provided a powerful platform for Gulf companies to expand their networks, build strategic partnerships, and introduce their latest collections to a global audience. From Saudi Arabia’s master jewellers to Bahrain’s heritage pearl specialists, the Gulf’s contribution highlighted a unique balance between ancestral craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.

Saudi Arabia’s Distinctive Designs

Among the Saudi participants, Jewellery4Cs captured attention with a broad selection of gold and diamond sets tailored for different occasions. Their commitment to blending deep market knowledge with refined artistry reflected the strong positioning of Saudi jewellers in the international luxury scene.

Qatar’s Innovative Spirit

Representing Qatar, Blue Diamond Jewellery emphasized its dedication to the event by unveiling exclusive new pieces for the first time. With a mix of global brands and original creations, the Qatari pavilion attracted an enthusiastic audience eager to explore fresh innovations in fine jewellery.

Bahrain’s Heritage of Pearls and Gold

Bahrain brought its signature touch of natural pearls and gold artistry through renowned houses such as Shaab Pearls, celebrated for crafting 21k gold pieces adorned with diamonds, emeralds, and rubies. Rafee Jewellery, a family legacy since 1982, also impressed visitors by fusing traditional Bahraini motifs with modern aesthetics, appealing to both heritage lovers and younger generations.

Oman’s Contribution to Regional Luxury

Omani jewellers, known for their heritage-inspired motifs and meticulous craftsmanship, enhanced the diversity of the exhibition. Their collections underlined the Gulf’s shared tradition of blending artistry with timeless cultural narratives.

More Than a Showcase – A Strategic Gateway

According to Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, the wide Gulf participation confirms the event’s role as a gateway for regional brands to global markets. The exhibition allows Gulf jewellers not only to meet consumer demand but also to compete alongside the world’s most prestigious names, strengthening the UAE’s position as a global hub for precious metals and fine jewellery.

A Celebration of Luxury and Opportunity

The exhibition, sponsored by Al Romaizan Jewellery and Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery, also offered visitors chances to win major prizes, including an Audi A3 and luxury gold and diamond sets. Beyond glamour, the show provided invaluable opportunities for business growth, creative exchange, and consumer engagement—making it one of the most influential jewellery events in the region.
