Amalfi Coast, Italy – Just in time for the high summer season, Uber has officially launched new luxury transport options on the Amalfi Coast, introducing Uber Copter and Uber Boat to elevate the travel experience in one of Italy’s most glamorous destinations.
With over 5 million visitors expected to flock to the coast this summer, Uber is rolling out high-end services that allow tourists to travel by land, sea, or air. Through the Uber app, users can now pre-book private helicopter rides from Sorrento to Capri and enjoy luxury 4-hour boat cruises along the iconic coastline.
The Uber Copter experience includes round-trip transfers for up to 6 people aboard a twin-engine helicopter for €250 per person. Meanwhile, Uber Boat offers private charters for up to 12 guests on an elegant Italian Gozzo 35, complete with a skipper, snacks, and beverages.
Both services will operate every weekend from July 26 to August 24, and are available for booking via Uber Reserve, with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Ground transport options are also expanding with scheduled Uber rides now available along the Amalfi Coast, offering a seamless, crowd-free journey to and from key tourist spots—including the newly upgraded Salerno Airport.

With demand for Uber services in Italy’s top tourist regions up 25% since last summer, and over 60,000 app users on the Amalfi Coast alone, Uber is answering the call for upscale, convenient travel in 2025.
