The UAE’s tourism sector is experiencing remarkable momentum in 2025, welcoming 29.2 million international visitors so far this year—a 15.5% increase from the same period last year. This surge reaffirms the country’s growing appeal as a premier global destination, thanks to world-class infrastructure, high-profile global events, and focused promotional efforts.

Dubai remains the centerpiece, drawing in 18.72 million overnight visitors, and boasting one of the highest hotel occupancy rates in the world at 77.4%, according to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

Across the UAE, the hospitality industry is thriving, with hotel revenues surpassing AED 45 billion and national occupancy rates averaging 78%, placing the country among the global leaders in tourism performance.

These achievements align with the UAE’s National Tourism Strategy 2031, which aims to attract 40 million hotel guests annually and generate AED 100 billion in tourism investments, reinforcing the country’s long-term vision of economic diversification through sustainable travel and hospitality.
