Dubai Autodrome Hosts Thrilling Roll Racing During Ramadan

Dubai Autodrome Roll Racing

Dubai Autodrome, a subsidiary of Union Properties, is offering speed enthusiasts the chance to race their own cars in a safe and controlled environment during Ramadan through a series of roll racing events.

Following the opening round last week, the event returns this Friday and every week until March 28, providing car lovers with a unique late-night motorsports experience under the floodlights at Dubai Autodrome.

Participants can bring their own vehicles—whether high-performance supercars or modified regular cars—to test their skills on the main straight, competing against another driver at high speeds, all under the supervision of experienced safety marshals and medical staff.

This event marks the conclusion of the 2024/2025 season at Dubai Autodrome, which has hosted major events such as the Dubai 24 Hour Race and the Asian Le Mans Series.

Commenting on the event, Faisal Al Sahlawi, General Manager of Dubai Autodrome, said:
“We are delighted to host roll racing nights at Dubai Autodrome during the holy month of Ramadan. The UAE government has made great efforts to enhance road safety across the country, and motorsport aligns with these efforts by providing speed enthusiasts with a secure and responsible racing environment at Dubai Autodrome instead of public roads.”

He added: “This event embodies the true values of Ramadan by serving the growing motorsports community, bringing together car enthusiasts, clubs, and fans for an exciting and dynamic experience in a controlled setting.”

“The opening night saw a great turnout, with 80 cars competing in races in front of more than 1,000 spectators. This highlights the significance of the event in terms of participation and viewership, as well as the strong passion for high-performance cars in the UAE,” he noted.

Spectators can enjoy the races from the grandstands, with a variety of food and beverage options available to enhance the community experience. Grandstand tickets are priced at AED 30 and can be purchased at the entrance.
