The SBGH349 features a 40mm high-intensity titanium case, an upgrade from its predecessor, the SBGH347. This innovative material is 30% lighter than stainless steel, offering exceptional durability and resistance to scratches and corrosion. Paired with a titanium bracelet and a dual-curved sapphire crystal, the design achieves a balance of elegance, functionality, and comfort for everyday wear.

At the heart of this watch lies the Hi-Beat Caliber 9S85, a high-frequency movement operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, ensuring exceptional timekeeping accuracy ranging from +5 to -3 seconds per day. With a robust 55-hour power reserve and a sapphire crystal caseback showcasing its intricate mechanics, the SBGH349 exemplifies Grand Seiko’s dedication to horological excellence.

Beyond its technical brilliance, the watch offers practical features, including 100m water resistance and protection against magnetic forces up to 4,800 A/m, making it suitable for various environments. Every detail, from the Zaratsu-polished titanium case to the icy-blue dial, reflects Grand Seiko’s philosophy of blending nature-inspired artistry with cutting-edge innovation.

Available starting January 2025 at a retail price of $7,400, the Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 SBGH349 is a masterpiece for collectors and enthusiasts who value precision, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to nature.
